God Bless the victims and their families.
tulsapoolplyr88
My prayers go out to the families of those taken from them so suddenly. Remember to always tell the ones you love how you feel about them because at any moment they can be taken away from you.
I consider my self a part of the VT community. I never attended the University but my son and daughter-in-law are both graduates. I and my congregation here in Florida will be praying for all of you. I am proud to say to people that I am a HOKIE! God’s blessings to the entire Virginia Tech community.
Rev. Edwin J. Nicklas

We will be praying for all of the familes involved in this tragedy. Also, we need to pray for those students that will have live with this also. My brother attended VT and I had many good times visiting the school and the surounding area. Hopefully peace will return soon.
God bless!!
My prayers go out to the families of all the innocent people who lost their lives without any reason. God bless them and the families.
We are praying for each and everyone of you. Take care of each other.
My heart goes out to each and every family member and friend that is connected to this tragedy. In a way, we are all connected. The task at hand now is to make sure these beautiful people are not forgotten with tommorrow's new. God bless everyone of you.
for everyone who has been apart of this tragedy, for everyone who has a loved one, is a loved one or knows the loved ones, for the victims and the staff of vtech and the families and friends i truly hope you ALL know how much everyone in america is thinking of you at this sad time. for the victims that have passed away, i will see you in heaven...you are a hero to everyone.
Although we live in a state rich in its own football tradition (Alabama), my son, as a young teen inexplicably adopted the Hokies as his chosen team. He's endured a lot of teasing through the past years because of it. I told him last night, as he grieved along with the VT families, that he sure chose wisely. I've been so overwhelmed with the spirit and class displayed in the face of this tragedy. Hokie nation, you have much to be proud of. God bless and keep you all as you walk through this time together.
The VT community and victims' families are in our thoughts and prayers.

god bless each and every one of you at VT ..OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU..from gator country!
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of those that were taken in this horrible tragedy. I know that our Hokie family will always be there for one another in times of sorrow. May these victims never be forgotten.

I am a VT grad ('98) and currently live in Roanoke. I was absolutely floored by seeing such horror visit MY campus. My people. My VT brethren. I wish I could do more than just pray, but that's all that's left to do. I went to the candlelight vigil last night, and it was awesome to see thousands of lights standing together, holding each other up, and holding up the Hokie Nation. It was beautiful.
Thougts and prayers go out to the entire VT community and families. Some many questions, so few answers. Just remember that Earth hath no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.
God bless.
My prayers go out to the families and friends of someone that was taken away on that horrible day. It has touched everyone. Heaven has 32 more Angels, God Bless!
My thoughts and prayers are with the victims families and my heart goes out to all of them. My thoughts and prayers are also with the Administration, teachers/professors and the students at Tech. You all have shown admirable strength and courage in the face of this tragedy. God bless each of you and Go Hokies! The true spirit of the school has come through and will live on.
As I see all the beautiful faces of the students and the professors who loved them, it is reassuring that there are more exceptional human beings in the world than disturbed ones.
Prayers and sympathy for all.
Patience makes lighter what sorrow may not heal but death gives us sleep, eternal youth, immortality but leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. No one's death comes to pass without making some impression, and those close to the deceased inherit part of the liberated soul and become richer in their humanness

My heart aches for all the families and friends of the victims of this tragedy. Heaven has welcomed these angels and is surely a brighter place because of them. God bless you.
When I was in college in Pennsylvania, two of my dear friends were struck by a car and killed. At this time, when these mostly young people with their whole lives ahead of them are taken so senselessly, focus on love and the strength that community brings. Thank God daily for having known them. Carry peace and love in your hearts and be conscious of it every day. My soul is crying along with yours.
Stay strong and God bless. You are in our thoughts in prayers down south in New Orleans.
I can't say anything that will sound any different than what has already been said, however I too feel compelled to send my condolences to all of those affected by this senseless act of violence. I know the road seems long but you will see light along the way. I urge all to reflect on the positive acts devastation such as this brings out in humanity. There are so many willing to offer support, love, kindness, and even just a shoulder to cry on when needed, let them! The human spirit is stronger than that of the evil that possesses the bodies of these perpetrators. We will endure, we have to, it is our legacy. I want to add one more thing. . . Parents, know your children, if they need help it is your responsibility to get it for them!

Yesterday as I walked across my campus (Mississippi State Univ) it was evident that our thoughts are with the VT community. God Bless you all, we are praying for you, and we will remember. We wear our Maroon to honor yours.
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
Take heart in knowing that millions of people are praying for you and your families

I am a mother who lost her 23-year old daughter in an automobile accident 14-1/2 years ago. There are no words I can offer to those who lost their loved ones on April 16 at Virginia Tech. The sadness and pain you are going through now is unspeakable and the road to healing is long. Life changed for you in a blink of an eye and the "what ifs" and "whys" will never be answered on this earth. The prayers of America are with you, and they will hold you up. When my daughter died, I didn't want to endure--I didn't want to survive. But then one day I woke up and decided that I wanted to live again. I hope one day you will too--but now is a time for a sorrow you never knew was possible. My thoughts and prayers are with you as are so many thoughts and prayers of so many people.
I feel a certain kinship with you--a kinship we all wish we didn't have. I also feel a kinship with Va Tech, the school my brother and husband attended for many years many years ago--when I attended Radford which then was the Women's division of VPI. The Va Tech community is strong and it will prevail.
You are in my heart. b
Thank you to the originator of this posting site! I do not have a direct affilation with VT, but I have friends that are alumni. I don't think I've stopped crying since Monday! Your entire community is in my thoughts and prayers. We must never forget the VT32...
Much Love from California!
XOXO :)
God Bless all of you at this time and keep you close to him always. When terrible things like this happen it's felt by every one every where no matter what state. Just know that Athens, Ohio is thinking of you.
The Hokie spirit isn't something that can be explained, but rather only
experienced. It's bigger than the incredible, ear piercingly loud football
games that pack the stands with thousands upon thousands of loyal fans (not
to mention the unbelievably fun tailgating). It is bigger than walking
across the drill field in the tumultuous wind headed to an 8 a.m. class.
This spirit is greater than the gorgeous oranges and maroons that befall
upon the lush trees of Virginia in the fall. The Hokie spirit is what you
hear in the voice of a Hokie telling you how much we love our school. It is
the great sense of camaraderie you find in students and alumni across the
globe. It is remembering the all-nighters pulled during finals where
Hokie's congregate at the Math Emporium or on the 5th floor lounge in West
A.J. to study with peers. It is the friendships that are made in Blacksburg
that will never be broken. Being a Hokie is a proud sentiment that never
leaves your heart. Anyone who knows Blacksburg, Virginia can see why the
people who live or have lived there hold it in such special regards.
Friends that go to other schools find the degree of love that Hokies have
for Virginia Tech to be annoying... and that's understandable. Blacksburg,
nestled in it's own little nook in the serene rolling hills of Southern
Virginia, is a beautiful place. It's hard to imagine why someone would want
to attack and destroy all of this, but on April 16th, someone did. It is
agonizing to imagine the gruesome event that turned our harmonious campus
into a scene of sheer horror. How could someone do this to the place we
love? It is painful to attempt to comprehend the suffering that the
families of loved ones lost are experiencing right now at the hands of pure
evil. How could someone do this to them? How could someone do this to us?
Blacksburg's heart has been broken, but its strength and soul will bring it
back stronger than ever-- there is no question about that. We might not ever find the answers we are looking for and the pain will probably never go
away, but Blacksburg can and will overcome the evil with the good and the
Hokie spirit will inevitably prevail.

Your tears are my tears, your pain is my pain and your strength is my strength. As someone from the Denver Community, I understand the pain, shock and disbelief. I also know that time heals wounds and your hearts will grow stronger. Keep you chins up and remember that you are not alone, the entire country is there with you to grieve, to rejoice the lives of those lost and to put the pieces back together. Love and Peace to all!
Each of these beautiful people will be missed as lives are forced to go on without them. Each life touched by this horrible act will be changed forever. If only each of us could live by the 10 Commandments, there would be none of this. We don't need religion, we need a relationship with Christ. My heart breaks for the staff, the students, the families. This life isn't about us, it is about God's Plan for us, we need to each of us seek Him for discernment about His plan for our lives.

You don't get over it,
You just get through it.
You don't get by it,
because you can't get around it.
It doesn't get better,
It just gets different.

A very close friend of mine pasted away a little over 2 yrs ago now. This is a little poem that was posted on his memorial site and I hate to say it but it is so true. Death is something you never get over. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone at VT.

Such a senseless act--tragic--and
so many warnings. God Bless~~

I cant imagine what it is like to have gone thru this experience. I am saddened by this tragedy, and my thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.
My 11 year old daughter asked me about what happened. When I told her she said..."Daddy, we need to pray for those people don't we?"
We have and will continue to do just that.
God Bless
God Bless all of the people involved in this tragedy. I will keep all of you in my prayers. Lean on each other in the difficult days ahead. You are in our thoughts and prayers in Nebraska.

Sending love and prayers from Denver, CO. Your pain is so real, I bet it feels like it will never go away. We will continue to pray for the VT family, you will find your strength in the love around you. Bless you all...
God bless the VT community. Indiana University is praying for each and every one of you. May God guide you through these tragic times, and may He heal the wounds that have been left behind. Know that those who we honor forever, are with God in a better place now. Be proud to be a Hokie, and always remember 4/16. God bless

As I see all the beautiful, smiling faces of the students and the professors who loved them, it breaks my heart. It breaks my heart to know that beyond these 32 souls there are so many others who are fighting to continue living with such heartache and sorrow.
As you morn for your losses and begin to rebuild your lives know that our nation is full of love and prayers that are being sent your way.
For the victims and their family and friends. For the beautiful community of Virginia Tech.....You are in our prayers today, tonight and forever.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
We send our deepest condolensces to everyone who has been affected by this horrible tragedy. God Bless all of you
God Bless Virginia Tech.
My husband and I grew up in Roanoke and he attended Tech. It's almost inconceivable that something this horrible could ever happen there. As a parent, I can't even begin to imagine the immeasurable grief the parents of the lost and injured students are experiencing. Please know that you’re all in our thoughts and prayers. God bless you all!
I wish I went to VT! The sense of Hokie spirit and comraderie is felt all over the world right now. I am so glad today is a day where we are remembering the victims and the lives they lived while on this earth. One of the dads said he wants to celebrate the life of his son and remember what a great man he was. That's what we all need to do. Let's stop focusing on the killer and take our time to honor the victims and mourn and pray for their families and loved ones. Thank you for putting this site up to remember these incredible people. I pray that all of you will find the peace and comfort that is only found in Christ.
To those familes that have lost loved ones.. may you find strength in each other. God bless each one of those who have lost their lives.
My deepest prayers go out to the families who lost loved ones. Live on the memories of those lost. Stay strong VT.
Lord our God, You are always faithful and quick to show mercy. So many from VT were violently taken from us. Come swiftly to their aid, have mercy on them, and comfort their families and friends by the power and protection of the cross. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Husker country supports the Hokies! God Bless each and every one of you. The sun WILL shine again! Keep the faith in Him, all of those wonderful, innocent lives taken are watching over each of us from Above now. To the families of loved ones lost~Stay strong and know that they will live on inside each of you.
God Bless Virginia Tech!
